We present a quantum embedding theory called dynamical configuration interaction (DCI) that combines wave function and Green's function theories. DCI captures static correlation in a correlated subspace with configuration interaction and couples to high ...

Theory and applications of evolvable embedded systems [PDF]
We represent the first attempt to formulate a concept of the evolvable embedded system as a specialized kind of evolvable (hardware) systems. We define the class of evolvable embedded systems, describes a general framework for their modeling, introduces theoretical models, and reviews possible implementations and applications.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

Ixazomib inhibits proteasome‐mediated degradation of topoisomerase I induced by irinotecan, thereby restoring drug sensitivity and promoting tumor cell death in colorectal cancer. Irinotecan, a topoisomerase I (topoI) inhibitor, is widely used for colorectal cancer, but resistance remains a major clinical challenge.

A High-Capacity 3D Steganography Algorithm With Adjustable Distortion
In this paper, we devise a novel steganography algorithm that has a high capacity while still retaining the ability of adjusting the embedding distortion. A shifting strategy is explored to embed the secret data into a given 3-D model effectively.

Embedding effective depression care: using theory for primary care organisational and systems change [PDF]
Background: depression and related disorders represent a significant part of general practitioners (GPs) daily work. Implementing the evidence about what works for depression care into routine practice presents a challenge for researchers and service ...

This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.
