KDM7A and KDM1A inhibition suppresses tumour promoting pathways in prostate cancer
Treatment resistance is a major challenge for patients with advanced prostate cancer. This study examined an alternative approach to target the major prostate cancer‐promoting pathway by targeting epigenetic factors, whose levels are higher in tumours.

Do we need personalization more than normalization [PDF]
Sustainability is a current buzzword, used profusely in academia, business and public life, yet it seem to be merely the latest expression of the Human Exemptionalism Paradigm: a framing that reinforces the perceived separation between humans and nature.

Failure Surface Morphology and Uplift Bearing Capacity Calculation of Soil Surrounding Glass Fiber-Reinforced Plastic Screw Anchors [PDF]
[Objective] As a new type of support anchor, the Glass Fiber-Reinforced Plastic (GFRP) screw anchor is increasingly used in engineering practice due to its simple construction, light weight, high strength, corrosion resistance, and cost-effectiveness ...

This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

Role of Footing Embedment on Tunnel-Foundation Interaction [PDF]
This technical note investigates the effect of footing embedment depth on tunnel-structure interaction using geotechnical centrifuge testing. A two-story framed building on separate footings, either resting directly on the surface or embedded in the soil,

Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

In 2013, the authors introduced the notion of \(p\)-extension of rings [Contemporary Mathematics 609, 19--32 (2014; Zbl 1302.13012)]. An extension of rings \(R \hookrightarrow S\) is a \(p\)-extension if for each \(s\in S\) there is an \(r\in R\) such that \(sS = rS\).

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

STIFFNESS AND DAMPING PROPERTIES OF EMBEDDED MACHINE FOUNDATIONS
In this study, a dynamic analysis of machine foundations under vertical excitations is carried out. The effect of embedment and foundation geometry has been taken into account. The stiffness and damping of soil are considered as frequency dependents.
