NOISE-ASSISTED EMD METHODS IN ACTION
In this work we explore the capabilities of two noise-assisted EMD methods: Ensemble EMD (EEMD) and the recently proposed Complete Ensemble EMD with Adaptive Noise (CEEMDAN), to recover a pure tone embedded in different kinds of noise, both stationary and nonstationary.

A Modified Noise-Resistant Trend Estimation Method Based on EMD and SSA for Aeroelastic Aircraft Systems [PDF]
Aimed at the nonlinear system identification of aeroelastic aircraft, the signal decomposition methods are required to extract the contributing natural and non-standard flight modes from flight test data, especially in the presence of flight noise.

3A-EMD: A generalized approach for monovariate and multivariate EMD [PDF]
EMD is an emerging topic in signal processing research and is applied in various practical fields. Its recent extension to multivariate signals, motivated by the need to jointly analyze multi-channel signals, is an active topic of research. However, all the existing extensions specifically hold either mono-, bi- or tri-variate signals or require ...
