Affine Shape Comparison using Different Distances

open access: yesJOIV: International Journal on Informatics Visualization, 2020
In this work, we propose to compare affine shape using Hausdorff distance (HD), Dynamic Time Warping (DTW), Frechet (DF), and Earth Mover distance (EMD).

Conformational Snapshots of CydDC in a Native Lipid Bilayer Coupling Heme Transport to Antibiotic Resistance

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Phylogenetic and biochemical analyses of the heme transporter CydDC reveal its functional conservation throughout bacterial evolution and demonstrate its unique asymmetric allosteric mechanism. Furthermore, impairment of CydDC function directly affects bacterial antibiotic resistance and likely compromises antibiotic efficacy through drug efflux.

Time‐Varying Clearance and Impact of Disease State on the Pharmacokinetics of Avelumab in Merkel Cell Carcinoma and Urothelial Carcinoma

open access: yesCPT: Pharmacometrics & Systems Pharmacology, 2019
Avelumab, a human anti–programmed death ligand 1 immunoglobulin G1 antibody, has shown efficacy and manageable safety in multiple tumors. A two‐compartment population pharmacokinetic model for avelumab incorporating intrinsic and extrinsic covariates and

Application of EMD and 1.5-dimensional spectrum in fault feature extraction of rolling bearing

open access: yesThe Journal of Engineering, 2019
The original signal of rolling bearing fault contains a large number of phase coupling components and is easily submerged in the background noise, which make the fault information difficult to be extracted accurately.

Hemoglobin's α‐Helix‐to‐β‐Sheet Transition Enables Targeted mRNA Delivery to the Lung

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Acidic heating converts hemoglobin into β‐sheet‐rich fibrils with positively charged surfaces. These hemoglobin fibrils electrostatically complex IL‐11 scFv mRNA, selectively bind circulating platelets, and hitchhike to the lung, where they are enriched in fibroblasts.

Radiation‐Induced Tumor‐Intrinsic LTβR N‐Glycosylation Suppresses Pyroptosis Through TRIM28‐Mediated PCBP2 SUMOylation to Promote Gastric Cancer Radioresistance

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Radiotherapy triggers LTβR N‐glycosylation, enhancing its overall protein stability and nuclear retention. This accumulation drives TRIM28‐mediated PCBP2 SUMOylation, suppressing pyroptosis and conferring gastric cancer radioresistance. Therapeutically, a targeted nanoplatform (cRGD‐Lipo@EMD) effectively disrupts this regulatory axis, offering a highly

Lactate‐Driven Restriction of Mitochondrial Permeability Transition Promotes Resistance to Chemo‐Immunotherapy by Suppressing Tumor PANoptosis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Tumor‐derived lactate establishes a metabolic lock that drives chemo‐immunotherapy resistance by suppressing PANoptosis. Mechanistically, KAT8 lactylates the mitochondrial translocator ANT2, which recruits PGAM5 to dephosphorylate CypD. This cascade restricts mitochondrial permeability transition pore opening, preventing pro‐inflammatory mtDNA leakage.

Structural Polymorphism of polyG Inclusions Revealed by In Situ Cryo‐Electron Tomography

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Correlative cryo‐electron tomography in primary cortical neurons and NIID mouse brain tissue reveals that polyG inclusions are interconnected ribbon‐like assemblies rather than canonical amyloid fibrils. Multiple compartment‐specific ribbon states show distinct 26S proteasome accessibility, while cytoplasmic ribbons contact and deform ER‐like ...

PolyG Fibrils Coalesce Into Nuclear Ribbons That Engage Proteostasis Machinery in Neuronal Intranuclear Inclusion Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In NIID, expanded NOTCH2NLC repeats give rise to nuclear polyG inclusions. Tracer‐guided in situ cryo‐electron tomography enables cross‐scale structural analysis from mouse brain to native neuronal nuclei, revealing dense‐core/peripheral‐halo inclusions built from compact polyG ribbons.

Valve Leakage Mode Recognition Method Based on Empirical Mode Decomposition and Random Forest

open access: yesYuanzineng kexue jishu
As a critical equipment in nuclear power plants, valve leakage would have an impact on system safety and stable operation. Using acoustic emission technology to identify valve leakage and distinguish between different leakage modes of internal and ...
