Reaction-noise induced homochirality
Starting from the chemical master equation, we employ field theoretic techniques to derive Langevin-type equations that exactly describe the stochastic dynamics of the Frank chiral amplification model with spatial diffusion.

The catalytic enantioselective epoxidation of acyclic tetrasubstituted alkenes, bearing a trifluoromethyl group, is reported. In the presence of Takemoto's thiourea organocatalyst and tert‐butyl hydroperoxide, epoxides are obtained with excellent yield and good to high enantioselectivity.

Proper selection of a modified guanidinato ligand allows for the selective catalytic dehydroborylation of terminal alkynes by an air‐stable aluminum complex. A plausible reaction pathway is suggested based on DFT studies, where the auxiliary substituent of the guanidinato ligand actively participates in the activation of the σ CH bond.

Control of Bremia lactucae in Field-Grown Lettuce by DL-3-Amino-n-Butanoic Acid (BABA) [PDF]
DL-3-amino-n-butanoic acid (BABA) was effective in controlling downy mildew incited by Bremia lactucae Regel in lettuce plants. The two isomers of BABA, DL-2-amino-n-butanoic acid and 4-amino-butanoic acid and its s-enantiomer were ineffective compares ...

A new strategy for synthesis of P‐chiral phosphines via manganese‐catalyzed enantioselective hydrophosphination was established. The solvent like iPrOH was found to be able to tune the enantioselectivity of the product, thus providing both enantiomers of P(III)‐stereogenic compounds with a single (Rc, Sp)‐Clarke Mn(I) complex catalyst. In this work, we

Development of a Copper‐Free Click Reaction for Asymmetric Rh Diene Catalysis Under Confinement
A copper‐free amino–yne click reaction enables the selective functionalization of chiral diene ligands with both soluble and immobilized amines. Substituent‐controlled stereoselectivity affords (E)‐ and (Z)‐enaminone ligands, which are converted into Rh complexes for asymmetric catalysis under homogeneous and heterogeneous conditions.

Asymmetric Synthesis of Atropisomeric Amines via Transaminase‐Catalyzed Dynamic Kinetic Resolution
A dynamic kinetic resolution approach is developed for the atroposelective synthesis of heterobiaryl primary amines. Using transaminases and leveraging Lewis acid‐base interactions to induce racemization, a variety of axially chiral primary amines are produced in high yields and enantioselectivities.
