Post‐Modification of Tripyrenylenes to Enantiopure π‐Extended D3‐Symmetric Propellers

The post‐modification of tripyrenylenes to π‐extended enantiopure propellers with tris‐phenanthrophenazines is presented and the chiroptical properties as well as the solid‐state packings investigated in comparison to the corresponding racemic mixtures.

Force‐Induced Control of Circularly Polarized Luminescence With Rotaxane Architecture

Force‐induced reversible on/off switching of circularly polarized luminescence is achieved with a rotaxane‐based supramolecular mechanophore. The mechanophore, featuring a chiral helicene luminophore, is incorporated as a first network cross‐linker into a double‐network organogel.

Regioselective Oxidative Oligomerization of 2‐Tert‐Butylpyrene Toward Structurally Defined Oligomers and Their Application in Organic Light‐Emitting Diodes

Treatment of 2‐tert‐butylpyrene with Cu2+ afforded structurally well‐defined pyrene oligomers, up to the 13‐mer. Single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction, spectroscopic analyses, and computational studies were conducted to evaluate the properties of the resulting oligopyrenes.
