Chiral Chromenes: Synthesis, Separation of Enantiomers and Barriers to Racemization
2ff-Chromenes 3 and 4 have been synthesized by reduction of the appropriate lactone with diisobutylaluminium hydride and subsequent O-alkyla- tion of the resulting lactols.

Pharmacokinetic Differences Between Lansoprazole Enantiomers in Rats
Because limited information is available about potential differences between the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of the enantiomers of lansoprazole, the enantioselective pharmacokinetics of the compound have been investigated in rats.

The separation of specific enantiomers of anticancer reagent cytarabine using HPLC.
During the research and development stage of any drug candidate, there is a growing need to investigate the properties of existing enantiomers, if the drug possesses chirality.

A Chiral Saddle‐Shaped Nanographene With Two Heptagon‐Embedded [4]Helicenes
We present a novel synthetic strategy toward a chiral saddle‐shaped nanographene (cSNG) via a two‐step oxidation of a prochiral anthracene precursor. The Scholl‐type oxidation first yields a key intermediate with sp3‐defect heptagons, and subsequent oxidative dehydrogenation affords fully conjugated cSNG.

Affinity of Rimantadine Enantiomers against Influenza A/M2 Protein Revisited
Recent findings from solid state NMR (ssNMR) studies suggested that the (R)-enantiomer of rimantadine binds to the full M2 protein with higher affinity than the (S)-enantiomer.

11-Hydroxyeicosatetraenoics induces cellular hypertrophy in an enantioselective manner
BackgroundR/S enantiomers of 11-hydroxyeicosatertraenoic acid (11-HETE) are formed from arachidonic acid by enzymatic and non-enzymatic pathways. 11-HETE is predominately formed by the cytochrome P450 1B1 (CYP1B1).
