Bioactive metabolites from the endophytic fungus Alternaria alternata

Fitoterapia, 2014
Two altenuene derivatives (1-2) and one isocoumarin (3), together with six known compounds (4-9) were isolated from solid cultures of an endophytic fungus Alternaria alternata, obtained from the fresh branches of Camellia sinensis. Chiral analysis revealed the racemic nature of 1 and 2, which were subsequently resolved into two pairs of enantiomers [(+)

Antiviral Butyrolactones from the Endophytic Fungus Aspergillus versicolor

Planta Medica, 2015
Versicolactones A-D (1-4), four new butyrolactones, along with four known butyrolactones (5-8) were isolated from the fermentation products of the endophytic fungus Aspergillus versicolor. The structures of compounds 1-4, including absolute configuration, were elucidated by interpretation of the NMR and CD data.

Gentiopicrin-producing endophytic fungus isolated from Gentiana macrophylla

Phytomedicine, 2009
Gentiana macrophylla is a traditional Chinese medicinal plant. Its dominant active constituents are secoiridoids, mainly gentiopicrin. The objective of this study was to determine whether endophytic fungi isolated from this plant produce the bioactive ingredient gentiopicrin.

Cytospones E-J from the endophytic fungus Cytospora rhizophorae

Fitoterapia, 2022
Cytospones E-J (1-6), six unreported α-pyrone derivatives, together with six known ones (7-12) were isolated from the solid culture of the endophytic fungus Cytospora rhizophorae A761, an endophytic fungus from Gynochthodes officinalis. The structures of the unreported compounds were unambiguously elucidated through spectroscopic analyses (1D, 2D NMR ...

Chromones from the endophytic fungus Bipolaris eleusines

Phytochemistry
Eight previously undescribed chromones eleusineketones A-H (1-8), as well as eight known compounds (9-16), were isolated from the endophytic fungus Bipolaris eleusines. These planar structures were created using an in-depth analysis of their spectral data, which included 1D, 2D, and HRESIMS data. Furthermore, the absolute configurations of compounds 1,

Cytotoxic sesquiterpenes from the endophytic fungus Pseudolagarobasidium acaciicola

Phytochemistry, 2016
Twenty previously unknown compounds and two known metabolites, merulin A and merulin D, were isolated from the endophytic fungus Pseudolagarobasidium acaciicola, which was isolated from a mangrove tree, Bruguiera gymnorrhiza. Structures of the 20 compounds were elucidated by analysis of spectroscopic data.
