4‐Nitramino‐3,5‐dinitropyrazole‐Based Energetic Salts
Chemistry – A European Journal, 2011Abstract4‐Nitramino‐3,5‐dinitropyrazole was prepared and stabilized through the formation of its ammonium salt. With selected cations, 14 nitrogen‐rich energetic salts were synthesized in high yield by metathesis reactions. These salts were fully characterized by 1H, 13C NMR, and IR spectroscopy and elemental analysis.

Nitrogen-rich nitroguanidyl-functionalized tetrazolate energetic salts
Chemical Communications, 2009A series of nitrogen-rich nitroguanidyl-functionalized tetrazolate salts paired with guanidinium-derivatized and heterocycle-based cations were synthesized and most exhibit better thermal stability, higher density and more positive heat of formation than their tetrazolate analogues.

The Synthesis and Characterization of New Energetic Salts
2000Abstract : Presently, hydrazine is the state of the art in many attitude control devices on many currently used satellite systems. The physical properties of hydrazine, namely its density and high vapor pressure, have led several research groups to search for new superior materials.

Energetic Salts Based on Tetrazole N‐Oxide
Chemistry – A European Journal, 2016AbstractEnergetic materials (explosives, propellants, and pyrotechnics) are used extensively for both civilian and military applications and the development of such materials, particularly in the case of energetic salts, is subject to continuous research efforts all over the world.

Energetic Ethylene‐ and Propylene‐Bridged Bis(nitroiminotetrazolate) Salts
Chemistry – A European Journal, 2009AbstractHigh energy density materials with ethylene‐ and propylene bis(5‐nitroiminotetrazolate) as the anions are reported; all salts were fully characterized by IR, and 1H, 13C, and 15N NMR spectroscopy as well as elemental analyses. In addition, the heats of formation (ΔHf) and the detonation pressures (P) and velocities (D) were calculated.magnified

Synthesis and Characterization of New Energetic Nitroformate Salts
European Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, 2007AbstractNew energetic nitroformate salts that contain high‐nitrogen cations were synthesized by taking advantage of the relatively high acidity of nitroform. All of the new salts have been characterized by elemental, spectral, and thermal analyses. Single‐crystal X‐ray analysis of 2 shows that it is a co‐crystal of a neutral 4‐amino‐1,2,4‐triazole ...
