Localization and Entanglement in Relativistic Quantum Physics [PDF]
The combination of quantum theory and special relativity leads to structures that differ in several respects from non-relativistic quantum mechanics of particles. These differences are quite familiar to practitioners of Algebraic Quantum Field Theory but

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Charge Deficiency, Charge Transport and Comparison of Dimensions [PDF]
We study the relative index of two orthogonal infinite dimensional projections which, in the finite dimensional case, is the difference in their dimensions.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Chameleon-like behaviour of cyclo[n]paraphenylenes in complexes with C70: on their impressive electronic and structural adaptability as probed by Raman spectroscopy [PDF]
Este artículo ha sido publicado por Royal Society of ChemistryA series of four 1:1 host-guest supramolecular complexes of [n]CPPs and C70 have been analyzed by Raman spectroscopy in solid state and complemented with the analysis of their spectroscopic ...

This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

The theory of local mass dimension one fermions of spin one half
About a decade ago the present author in collaboration with Daniel Grumiller presented an `unexpected theoretical discovery' of spin one-half fermions with mass dimension one [JCAP 2005, PRD 2005].
