Comparative study of aromaticity in tetraoxa[8]circulenes
A detailed analysis of the local aromaticity in tetraoxa[8]circulene and its benzo-annelated derivates was performed by means of the energy effect (ef), multicenter delocalization indices (MCI), harmonic oscillator model of aromaticity (HOMA) index ...

In sharp contrast to most photoinduced structural planarization (PISP) phenomena, which are highly exergonic and irreversible processes, we report here a series of a new class of PISP molecules, 9-phenyl-9H-tribenzo[b,d,f]azepine (PTBA) and its ...

Molecular characterization of covRS mutations in M1UK Streptococcus pyogenes
Group A Streptococcus (GAS) acquires covRS mutations driving a hypervirulent bacterial state, frequently associated with invasive disease‐like necrotizing fasciitis. We demonstrate that the newly emerged M1UK GAS lineage can also acquire these mutations.

Aging Is a Key Driver for Adult Acute Myeloid Leukemia
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a classical age‐related hematologic malignancy, and a key driver of AML is aging, which profoundly regulates intrinsic factors such as genomic instability, epigenetic reprogramming, and metabolic dysregulation, and alters bone marrow microenvironment.

ALDOA Promotes Glycolysis and NLRP3/GSDMD Pyroptosis to Accelerate ALS Progression
ABSTRACT Objective Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is characterized by progressive motor neuron degeneration. Glycolytic dysregulation is implicated in disease progression, yet the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. This study investigates how Aldolase A (ALDOA) drives ALS progression through glycolysis‐mediated motor neuron pyroptosis.

This study presents a reversible temperature sensor with high switching ratio, ∼103. The device is fabricated using PET‐ITO and carbon nanotube dispersions in alkane. Considering its application in cold chain logistics, a proof‐of‐concept with LED is showcased. Thus, a temperature drop below the threshold temperature (crystallization temperature of the

Anomalous cyclic conjugation in benzenoid molecules with a small number of Kekule structures
1751-1755The currently used Kekule-structure-based models for assessing the extent of cyclic conjugation in benzenoid hydrocarbons predict that there is no or very little cyclic conjugation in the rings possessing "fixed" double and single carbon ...
