The domestic refrigerator energy labelling scheme has demonstrated that energy savings are achievable once cabinets can be compared. Such schemes allow customers to easily identify energy efficient models and provide a stimulus to cabinet manufacturers to ensure that their cabinets are energy efficient in comparison to their competitors.
