Understanding Fabrication Variability in Core‐Shell Soft Biomaterials Using Stochastic Artificial Intelligence

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 24, 27 April 2026.
Fabrication‐induced variability remains a fundamental limitation in the scalable design of soft biomaterials. In this work, a stochastic machine learning approach based on Gaussian processes modeling is employed to establish quantitative links between biofabrication parameters, material properties, and their intrinsic variability.

A role for antizyme inhibitor 2 in the biosynthesis and content of serotonin and histamine in mouse mast cells [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Polyamines (putrescine, spermidine and spermine; PAs) are essential for the majority of living cells. Antizymes and antizyme inhibitors are key regulatory proteins of PA levels by affecting ornithine decarboxylase and PA uptake.

Exploring the genetic overlap between substance use disorder and educational attainment

open access: yesAddiction, Volume 121, Issue 4, Page 908-921, April 2026.
Abstract Background and aims Substance use disorder (SUD) is a polygenic psychiatric condition characterized by persistent drug use despite negative consequences. Several studies support that higher cognitive performance and educational attainment (EA) are associated with a reduced risk for SUD.

3p14 De Novo Interstitial Microdeletion in a Patient with Intellectual Disability and Autistic Features with Language Impairment: A Comparison with Similar Cases

open access: yesCase Reports in Genetics, 2015
To date, few cases of 3p proximal interstitial deletions have been reported and the phenotype and genotype correlation is not well understood. Here, we report a new case of a 3p proximal interstitial deletion.
