Engineers Don't Think Enough About Engineering
Structures Congress 2013, 2013Engineers often complain that non-engineers do not really understand or appreciate what engineers do for a living. At least some of this can be attributed to the persistent failure of engineers to reflect thoughtfully on what they do, how they do it, and why it matters, so that they can then articulate such information clearly to others.
