4D‐Printed Magneto‐Plasmonic Microrobots for Programmable Spatiotemporal De‐Icing
A 4D‐printing strategy is introduced to achieve programmable de‐icing devices. By aligning gold–magnetite nanofillers within a photosensitive resin, the printed structures exhibit dual magnetic and plasmonic functionalities, enabling precise spatio‐temporal ice removal through thermoplasmonic effects.

Triplet‐Triplet Annihilation Enhances Photochemical Curing Contrast for Vat‐Based 3D Printing
Triplet–triplet annihilation photopolymerization (TTAP) resins enhance curing contrast for digital light processing (DLP) 3D printing compared to conventional Type I and II photopolymerizations at matched optical densities. By exploiting a superlinear initiation response, TTAP preserves fine details, allowing reliable fabrication of complex structures ...

Enhanced Depth Imaging Optical Coherence Tomography
Ophthalmic Surgery, Lasers and Imaging Retina, 2011Imaging the choroid with conventional commercial spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) has been difficult, mainly because of difficulty in signal transmission beyond the retinal pigment epithelium. A recent modification to the standard technique, termed enhanced depth imaging optical coherence tomography (EDI-OCT), was able to image the

A depth enhancement strategy for kinect depth image
MIPPR 2017: Pattern Recognition and Computer Vision, 2018Kinect is a motion sensing input device which is widely used in computer vision and other related fields. However, there are many inaccurate depth data in Kinect depth images even Kinect v2. In this paper, an algorithm is proposed to enhance Kinect v2 depth images. According to the principle of its depth measuring, the foreground and the background are

Robust enhancement of depth images from depth sensors
Computers & Graphics, 2017In recent years, depth cameras (such as Microsoft Kinect and ToF cameras) have gained much popularity in computer graphics, visual computing and virtual reality communities due to their low price and easy availability. While depth cameras (e.g. Microsoft Kinect) provide RGB images along with real-time depth information at high frame rate, the depth ...

Localized image enhancement using depth map
2014 IEEE International Symposium on Signal Processing and Information Technology (ISSPIT), 2014The main objective of this paper is to propose a method for localized image enhancement. This method can be highly beneficial in medical purposes, like Laminography, or in enhancing images captured under non-uniform illumination. Along with a depth map, a spatial queue-based data structure is used to properly locate the area to be enhanced in the ...
