Deep learning-based single image face depth data enhancement
Face recognition can benefit from the utilization of depth data captured using low-cost cameras, in particular for presentation attack detection purposes. Depth video output from these capture devices can however contain defects such as holes or general depth inaccuracies. This work proposes a deep learning face depth enhancement method in this context

Depth-enhanced mobile robot teleguide based on laser images [PDF]
Abstract 3D stereoscopic visualization may provide a user with higher comprehension of remote environment in teleoperation when compared to 2D viewing. Works in the literature have addressed the contribution of stereo vision to improve perception of some depth cues often for abstract tasks, and it is hard to find contributions specifically addressing

Multidimensional en-face OCT imaging of the retina. [PDF]
Fast T-scanning (transverse scanning, en-face) was used to build B-scan or C-scan optical coherence tomography (OCT) images of the retina. Several unique signature patterns of en-face (coronal) are reviewed in conjunction with associated confocal images ...

Visibility Enhancement of Underwater Stereo Images Using Depth Image
In the underwater environment, light is absorbed and scattered by water and floating particles, which makes the underwater images suffer from color degradation and limited visibility. Physically, the amount of the scattered light transmitted to the image is proportional to the distance between the camera and the object.
