Decades of Enclosure Protection Exert Composite Effects on Grassland Grasshopper Communities
Decades of enclosure protection have altered grasshopper community structure, with species‐specific effects on population dynamics. For the low‐mobility grasshopper Chorthippus fallax, abundance did not differ strongly between exclosure‐protected and overgrazed areas, but its egg development duration was longer in exclosures. The two C.

A total of 435 non‐redundant metagenome‐assembled genomes (MAGs) were obtained from fecal samples of Taihangshan macaque across all four seasons. The alpha diversity of the gut microbiome in spring and winter was significantly higher than in summer and autumn. Furthermore, marked differences were detected in functional pathways and carbohydrate enzymes

Dietary Habits and Atopic Dermatitis Significantly Influence the Fecal Microbiome
Atopic dermatitis, dietary habits, sex, and BMI significantly influenced the fecal microbiome composition. On the species level, Faecalibacterium taiwanense was more abundant in atopic dermatitis, and Vescimonas sp000435555 was more abundant in the control population. On the genus level, CAG‐302 (NCBI: Clostridium) was more abundant in controls.

Identification of enterotype for patients with Alzheimer’s disease
Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a progressive and chronic neurodegenerative disorder of the central nervous system, characterized by behavioral and dysexecutive deficits. Its pathogenesis is closely associated with the intestinal flora. This study aimed to explore the enterotypes in AD by identifying key bacteria through machine learning and species co ...

Abstract It has been hypothesised that the composition of the gastrointestinal (GI) microbiota contributes to exertional heat illness (EHI) aetiology, but relevant empirical data in humans are lacking. Utilising a unique prospective study design, stool samples and resting blood samples were obtained from 550 individuals prior to (within 3 days ...
