Enthalpies of Sublimation, Solution, and Solvation of N-Arylmaleimides

1998
The enthalpies of sublimation of a series of substituted N-arylmaleimides [H, p-CH3, p-Br, p-CH3O, m-NO2, p-NO2, and p-N(CH3)2] and the enthalpies of their solution in chloroform, dimethylformamide, dioxane, acetonitrile, and carbon tetrachloride at 298 K were determined calorimetrically.

Enthalpies of solvation of alkali halides in formamide. III.: Structural considerations

Recueil des Travaux Chimiques des Pays-Bas, 1966
AbstractExperimental ionic enthalpies of solvation in formamide are converted into absolute enthalpies of solvation by considering the differences between the experimental enthalpies of solvation of cations and anions with identical radii. These differences are caused by the particular charge distribution in the solvent molecule and can be represented ...

An equation for describing the enthalpy of nonspecific solvation of nonelectrolytes

2000
An equation describing the enthalpy of nonspecific solvation of nonelectrolytes in various solvents was obtained as a result of an analysis of literature data and the data obtained by the present authors. The equation contains half as many parameters as the linear solvation energy relations and is based on experimental enthalpies of solvation in ...
