Constructing Mammal Occurrence Status and Deep Learning Training Data from Camera Trap Surveys in Wind Farm [PDF]
In South Korea, there has been an increase in the development of onshore wind farms as part of national strategies to achieve carbon neutrality. However, concerns have been raised regarding the potential ecological impacts on terrestrial mammals posed by

Therapeutic strategies for MMAE‐resistant bladder cancer through DPP4 inhibition
We established monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE)‐resistant bladder cancer (BC) cell lines by exposure to progressively increasing concentrations of MMAE in vitro. RNA sequencing showed DPP4 expression was increased in MMAE‐resistant BC cells. Both si‐DPP4 and the DPP4 inhibitor sitagliptin suppressed the viability of MMAE‐resistant BC cells.

Life cycle assessment of Libyan crude oil [PDF]
Petroleum products such as petrol and diesel are fossil fuels and have a high environmental impact. There is a demand to minimize these impacts especially in the upstream and midstream oil operations, i.e. exploration, production and refining processes,

We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.

Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve

Environmental impact assessment
This thesis screens the general Austrian EIA for its economic efficiency and in particular referring at the example of the GKI EIA, a hydro power plant in Tyrol with regard to prevalently temporal inefficiencies. The most substantial factors that have the possibility to delay EIA are for instance double handlings of the same fields in several reports ...
