A Geometrically Transient Platform for Bioelectronic Implants
Minimally invasive bioelectronic implants often compromise performance for smaller sizes. To resolve this optimization dilemma, a wireless bioelectronic implant with a transient geometry is introduced (MiFi). The origami‐inspired device miniaturizes up to sixfold for syringe insertion and autonomously unfolds post‐implantation.

CC and TIR-domain type NLR receptors trigger plant immunity in response to pathogen effectors. Here, Bhandari et al. show that the EP-domain surface of EDS1 heterodimers signals downstream of both receptor types and ensures a rapid transcriptional ...

Mixed‐cation lead mixed‐halide perovskites suffer from structural instabilities linked to nanoscale heterogeneity. To probe this non‐destructively, a low‐dose, concurrent 4D‐STEM and EDX methodology has been developed. Examining a (FA0.83Cs0.17)Pb(I0.8Br0.2)3 film revealed a complex mosaic of coexisting crystal structures. Crucially, local deficiencies

PGE2 Modulates GABAA Receptors via an EP1 Receptor-Mediated Signaling Pathway
Aims: PGE2 is one of the most abundant prostanoids in mammalian tissues, but its effect on neuronal receptors has not been well investigated. This study examines the effect of PGE2 on GABAA receptor currents in rat cerebellar granule neurons.

Sustainable Plant‐Based Water Repellent Coatings Using Hydrophobic Pine and Palm Pollen
A novel formulation strategy for creating superhydrophobic coatings using plant‐derived waxes and chemically treated pine and palm pollen. By employing acid modification, the hydrophobicity of the pollen surface is enhanced, resulting in water contact angles exceeding 150°.

An EP receptor with a novel pharmacological profile in the T‐cell line Jurkat [PDF]
1. Comparison of the rank order of potency of the natural prostanoids prostaglandin E2 (PGE2), PGD2, PGF2 alpha and carbaprostacyclin in stimulating cyclic AMP in Jurkat cells is consistent with the presence of an EP receptor. 2. Lack of responsiveness to the EP1/EP3 selective agonist, sulprostone, and the EP2 agonists, butaprost and AH 13205 ...

Distinct pharmacological and functional properties of NMDA receptors in mouse cortical astrocytes [PDF]
Background and purpose Astrocytes of the mouse neocortex express functional NMDA receptors which are not blocked by Mg2+ions. However, study of the pharmacological profile of glial NMDARs and their subunit composition is far from complete ...
