To address inherent limitations in regioselectivity and catalytic efficiency of UDP‐glycosyltransferases, an integrated strategy combining free‐energy driven pocket reshaping and tunnel engineering is developed. This strategy enables UGTBL1 to bidirectional glycosylation of tyrosol, synthesizing salidroside or icariside D2 without extensive screening ...

The thioether‐containing 6‐methylthio‐hexa‐1,3‐diene (MTHD) monomer is prepared from the biobased methional. The obtained isomeric cis‐/trans‐mixture of the diene can be successfully homo‐ and copolymerized via anionic techniques. Targeting the thioether groups via post‐polymerization modifications (i.e.

A INFLUÊNCIA DA LIGAÇÃO DE HIDROGÊNIO EM REAÇÕES QUÍMICAS: REAÇÃO DE PRILESCHAJEW
Theoretical analysis at the BHandHLYP/6-311++G(d,p) level of theory with the support of QTAIM calculations was used to reinvestigate the structure of an intermolecular system formed between ethylene oxide (C2H4O) and formic acid (HCO2H) after the ...

A unified Cr(III)/Rb(I) catalyst was developed for sulfur‐based ring‐opening copolymerisation (ROCOP), enabling high selectivity. Perfectly alternating copolymers were obtained from COS with minimal byproducts. PhNCS was identified as a practical alternative. Lower selectivity and O/S scrambling were observed for CS2 and thioanhydride . Abstract Sulfur‐

The Search for an Epoxide Precursor in Trimethylenemethane (TMM) Cycloaddition Reactions [PDF]
Trimethylenemethane (TMM) cycloaddition is a Pd(0)-catalyzed process in which new carbon rings are formed, which can be potentially useful in synthetic organic processes.

Chiral azacrown ethers from threitol were synthesized, and their catalytic activity and reusability were investigated in liquid–liquid and solid–liquid phase‐transfer reactions together with some previously synthesized catalysts. Some structure‐effect relationships were explored, while the recoverability of the crown ethers was demonstrated.

We present an asymmetric formal synthesis of pseudolaric acid B, for which we developed a new family of substrates with an epoxide geminally tethered to a sidechain bearing a furan, which undergoes a TESOTf‐catalyzed intramolecular (4+3) cycloaddition to yield the trans‐fused perhydroazulene core and the requisite quaternary stereocenter of the natural
