Beyond PD‐1: Mechanisms of Resistance to Checkpoint Blockade in Classical Hodgkin Lymphoma and Next‐Generation Immune Strategies

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Haematology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT PD‐1 inhibitors have reshaped the treatment landscape of classical Hodgkin lymphoma, yet a substantial proportion of patients exhibit primary or acquired resistance driven by tumor‐intrinsic alterations, immunosuppressive microenvironmental signals, metabolic constraints, and EBV‐mediated modulation.

Newly identified properties of known pharmaceuticals and myxobacterial small molecules revealed by screening for autophagy modulators

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, EarlyView.
Autophagy is a cellular degradation process involved in, for example, immune responses to pathogens and neurodegeneration. To identify modulators of autophagy, we developed a microscopy‐based screening assay and identified previously unknown autophagy‐modulating activities in known drugs and natural products from myxobacteria and fungi.

Weekly long-term intravenous immunoglobulin for refractory parvovirus B19 and Epstein-Barr virus-induced immune thrombocytopenic purpura

open access: yesThe Turkish Journal of Pediatrics, 2008
In pediatric acute immune thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) cases, it is usually possible to determine an underlying pathology; among them, viral infections are the leading causative agents.

Differential regulation of translational stress responses by herpesvirus ubiquitin deconjugases

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, EarlyView.
Translating viral mRNAs is challenging due to structural features that may slow translation or induce ribosome stalling. The viral ubiquitin deconjugases encoded by human pathogenic herpesviruses regulate the cellular response to ribosomal stress by inhibiting various branches of the Ribosomal Quality Control (RQC) and activating Ribosomal Stress ...

A 52‐week open‐label extension study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of oral rimegepant for the preventive treatment of migraine

open access: yesHeadache: The Journal of Head and Face Pain, EarlyView.
Abstract Objective To assess the safety, tolerability, and treatment effects of rimegepant 75 mg every other calendar day (EOD) for the preventive treatment of migraine in a 52‐week, open‐label extension (OLE) study. Background Rimegepant is an oral small molecule calcitonin gene–related peptide receptor antagonist approved for the acute treatment of ...
