We describe a case of a young man with autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) following Epstein–Barr virus (EBV) infection, in whom a long follow-up showed favourable outcome with complete clinical recovery and failure to relapse after cessation of immunosuppressive therapy.

Infection Complications in Pediatric Patients With Inborn Errors of Immunity After Umbilical Cord Blood Transplantation: A Chinese Single‐Center Study

Transplant Infectious Disease, EarlyView.
This study reveals that infections are highly prevalent in pediatric IEI patients after umbilical cord blood transplantation, with early‐stage infections and bloodstream infections strongly associated with poorer survival. These findings advocate for risk‐stratified surveillance and preemptive strategies in high‐risk subgroups.

Lung Biopsies in Patients Referred for Allogeneic Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation: Diagnostic Accuracy, Diagnostic Yield, and Clinical Utility

Transplant Infectious Disease, EarlyView.
Among patients referred for allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation with pulmonary opacities, lung biopsy provided a diagnosis in 72% of procedures and altered management in 51%. Despite a 7% major complication rate, lung biopsy frequently clarified noninfectious etiologies when bronchoscopy was inconclusive.
