ABSTRACT H syndrome is a rare autosomal recessive disorder caused by mutations in the SLC29A3 gene. We report three pediatric patients with a homozygous c.1309G>A (p.Gly437Arg) mutation presenting with distinct phenotypic variations. These cases expand the clinical spectrum and emphasize the importance of early genetic diagnosis and family counseling.

Multifaceted Roles of Chloroquines in Gastrointestinal Disorders and Beyond
Chloroquine (CQ) and hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) modulate lysosomal activity and autophagy, suppressing gastrointestinal inflammation and reshaping pathogenic microbiota. These mechanisms alleviate inflammatory bowel disease, inhibit associated tumor growth, and provide benefits in certain autoimmune and viral conditions.

B cell lymphoma‐derived EVs are intrinsically neutral or suppressive with respect to NK cell activity (panel 1). In the context of rituximab treatment, NK cytotoxicity is enhanced by antibody‐dependent cell‐mediated cytotoxicity (panel 2). Herein we show that, in addition, rituximab recognition of EV‐associated CD20 generates immune complexes that ...

ABSTRACT Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) is a life‐threatening hyperinflammatory syndrome. Epstein–Barr virus (EBV)‐associated HLH is a major subtype of secondary HLH, requiring prompt diagnosis and treatment. However, treatment is particularly challenging in patients with severe coagulopathy and hepatic dysfunction.

ABSTRACT Introduction Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) is a life‐threatening hyperinflammatory syndrome with high mortality in adults. Diagnosis remains challenging due to nonspecific clinical features and overlap with sepsis, malignancy, and other inflammatory conditions. Data on HLH in underserved populations are limited. Methods We performed
