Twin-induced plasticity of an ECAP-processed TWIP steel [PDF]
The TWIP steels show high strain hardening rates with high ductility which results in high ultimate tensile strength. This makes their processing by equal channel angular pressing very difficult.

Simulation study on the material stress distribution respect to different angle of ECAP [PDF]
This research study focused on the influence of channel angle towards stress distribution of material aluminium alloy 5083. The size of the grain is related to the mechanical properties of material.

Characterization Of An Equal Channel Angular Pressed Al-Zn-In Alloy
Equal channel angular pressing (ECAP) is a technique that creates a high accumulated strain in metals and results in ultrafine-grained structure. In this study, Al-5Zn-0.02In was processed by ECAP at a room temperature using route Bc through an ECAP die (

Strengthening of AA5754 aluminum alloy by DRECE process followed by annealing response investigation [PDF]
In this study, a dual rolls equal channel extrusion (DRECE) process has been applied for improving the mechanical properties of the 5754 alloy. Supplementary experiments involving metallography, electron backscattered diffraction (EBSD), and XRD tests ...

Dynamic Precipitation during High‐Pressure Torsion of a Magnesium–Manganese Alloy
An ultrafine‐grained alloy is produced by high‐pressure torsion of solutionized Mg–1.35 wt% Mn. Precipitation of nanometer‐scale Mn particles during deformation provides pinning sites. This prevents the formation of a bimodal grain structure and results in a finer grain size than for pure Mg.
