Investigation of the equilibrium and non–equilibrium models of heat and moisture transport in a wet porous building material [PDF]
In the paper the equilibrium and non-equilibrium models of moisture transport across the wet building material are proposed and compared. The equilibrium condition between gaseous and liquid moisture phases in the first model is relaxed in the second one,

Water sorption isotherm of pea starch edible films and prediction models [PDF]
The moisture sorption isotherm of pea starch films prepared with various glycerol contents as plasticizer was investigated at different storage relative humidities (11%–96% RH) and at 5 ± 1, 15 ± 1, 25 ± 1 and 40 ± 1 °C by using gravimetric method.

Equilibrium moisture content of bell pepper [PDF]
Equilibrium moisture content (EMC) of bell pepper at selected levels of temperature (30-70°C) and relative humidity (10-75%) of the surrounding air was determined experimentally by the static method. The EMC increased with relative humidity but decreased with increase in temperature.

Equilibrium moisture content map for Laos
Providing the equilibrium moisture content values for territories is important for avoiding major problems due to dimensional changes in wooden products. This study evaluated the average equilibrium moisture content values for twelve months (from 1981 to 2020) for Laos and produced an equilibrium moisture content map.

Desorption isotherms and isosteric heat of niger grains (Guizotia abyssinica (L. f.) Cass.)
Niger seed oil has excellent quality and quantity (30-50%) and is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids, mainly linoleic acid (about 70%). Thus, control of environmental temperature and relative humidity, and of seed moisture content is essential to ...

EQUILIBRIUM MOISTURE CONTENT ISOTHERMS OF MUNGBEAN [PDF]
ABSTRACT The moisture isotherms of mungbean were determined at temperatures of 35, 45 and 55°C using isopiestic method. The effect of initial moisture content of mungbean on equilibrium moisture content was also studied. Five different models namely, Henderson equation, Chung and Pfost equation, Halsey equation, Sehgal equation and G.A.B. equation were
