Design of Internal Wire-Based Impedance Matching of Helical Antennas Using an Equivalent Thin-Wire Model [PDF]
We propose a novel design of internal impedance matching networks for axial-mode helical antennas. This network comprises a single wire attached to the helix.

Design of EM Sensor for Non-Contact Detection of Defective Wire Harness in Conveyor System
For a non-contact detection of defective wire harness in conveyor system, a new method using the electromagnetic (EM) sensor is proposed in this paper. A dual-feed and multi array microstrip patch antenna operating at 5.8 GHz is utilized to design the EM

Equivalent circuit of a ferrite-wound inductor in a wide frequency range (0 Hz – 500 MHz)
Based on the measured impedance of the inductors wound on various ferrite cores and with a different number of turns, an equivalent high frequency (0 Hz – 500 MHz) circuit model was built.

Equivalent Static Wind Loads on Snow-accreted Overhead Wires
The effects of structural and aerodynamic non-linearity on dynamic wind loads on overhead wires have been investigated. According to the Japanese design standards for transmission structures, wind loads on overhead wires are determined using equivalent static wind loads that can be used to estimate the maximum responses under dynamic loads.

Antenna Current Calculation Based on Equivalent Transmission Line Model
This paper provides a new way for spatial current/field profiles for frequency-selective surface analytical approximation. It confirms that the per unit length radiation resistance of an equivalent transmission line model for line antenna has little ...
