Equivalent electrochemical ‘wiring diagram’ of a neuron
2016 13th International Scientific-Technical Conference on Actual Problems of Electronics Instrument Engineering (APEIE), 2016In this paper there is an equivalent electrochemical ‘wiring diagram’ of the human's brain neurons, which makes it possible to estimate a possibility of the brain's neuron fields management using induction of low intensity low frequency flows.

Equivalent transmission lines of wire antennas and the radiation mechanism
Electronics and Communications in Japan (Part I: Communications), 1989AbstractThis paper proposes a new analysis method for a linear antenna by obtaining its equivalent nonuniform line. Based on the theory of transmission lines, the radiation mechanism of the linear antenna was clarified. The traveling‐wave mode method which was effective for the analysis of meandering lines was extended.

Analysis on equivalence effect of the grounded-wire transient electromagnetic method
Journal of Applied Geophysics, 2020Abstract Equivalence causes non-uniqueness in interpretations of the grounded-wire transient electromagnetic method (TEM). Many different layered models may produce the same response curves practically. However, the conventional theory of equivalence is based on the three-layer geo-electric models while the earth may not be reducible to a simple ...

As gold content accounts for the majority of bonding wire expense, wire diameter reduction is an effective way to reduce cost. However, it had been proved by authors' previous studies that the smaller the wire diameter is used, the smaller the sweep stiffness of wire bond will is. The lower sweep stiffness of the wire bond will always cause higher risk

A simulation study on the wired-equivalent capacity of ad hoc networks
2007 IEEE International Conference on Telecommunications and Malaysia International Conference on Communications, 2007In this paper we demonstrate the concept of wired- equivalent capacity in ad-hoc networks through a large-scale simulation study. A capacity model that mimics conventional experience (e.g. on wired, infrastructured networks) is proposed under a specific, yet realistic and user-oriented, assumption of the maximum fair usage. Capacity is then the maximum

Wave digital equivalents of the two-wire line and C-section
IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems, 1977A decoupled version of the microwave two-wire line is presented which readily yields a wave digital equivalent. This is used as a basis for deriving a wave digital realization of a C-section with transmission zero greater than unity. A structure is also presented which can realize a C-section with transmission zero less than unity. It is shown that the

Imperfections for an equivalent surface impedance of a uniaxial wire medium
Journal of Electromagnetic Waves and Applications, 2014A uniaxial wire medium is a medium formed by a two-dimensional array of conducting parallel thin wires. An analytical study of small imperfections in positioning of wires is considered for an equivalent surface impedance of this wire medium. It is studied that effects of these small imperfections in positioning of wires introduce an equivalent ...

On the equivalence between normal mode helical and coated wire antennas
2014 XXXIth URSI General Assembly and Scientific Symposium (URSI GASS), 2014Both normal mode helical and coated wire antennas are widely designed for many applications due to their smaller physical size while exhibiting the similar radiation pattern compared to bare dipole antennas. Sometimes these two kinds of antennas have the identical performance properties. The purpose is to investigate the equivalence between normal mode
