Ultrasound microbubble-mediated CRISPR/Cas9 knockout of in HEC-1A cells [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of International Medical Research, 2019
Objective Epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (C-erbB-2) is one of the most frequently mutated oncogenes in human tumors. We aimed to evaluate the knockout efficiency of clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeat (CRISPR) technology using ...

Combining RANK/RANKL and ERBB-2 targeting as a novel strategy in ERBB-2-positive breast carcinomas [PDF]

open access: yesBreast Cancer Research, 2019
Background ERBB-2 is overexpressed in about 20% of breast cancers (BCs), indicating poor prognosis. The receptor activator of nuclear factor-κB (RANK) pathway is implicated in ERBB-2 (+) BC.

Skor Histologi C-Erbb-2, Proliferasi Endotel Pembuluh Darah: Pada Infiltrasi Levobupivakain Terhadap Penyembuhan Luka

open access: yesJAI (Jurnal Anestesiologi Indonesia), 2009
Latar Belakang: Nyeri akut paska bedah memicu timbulnya gejala klinis patofisiologis, menekan respon imun, sehingga menyebabkan penurunan sistem imun yang akan menghambat penyembuhan luka. Levobupivakain, anestetik lokal durasi panjang efektif mengurangi

Correlation of c-erbB-2, EGF and EGFR expression with postoperative survival of patients with advanced carcinoma of the stomach.

open access: yesFolia Histochemica et Cytobiologica, 2010
The c-erbB-2 (HER-2/neu), EGF and EGFR (erbB-1) proteins, members of the epidermal growth factor receptor family, play a role in cell growth by binding to cell membrane receptors.

C-erbB-2 in Serum of Patients with Breast Cancer

open access: yesThe International Journal of Biological Markers, 1999
c-erbB-2 is an oncoprotein which is overexpressed in some breast cancers. Recently it has been established that the extracellular domain of c-erbB-2 is shed into the serum of patients with breast cancer.

p38MAPK Induces Cell Surface α4 Integrin Downregulation to Facilitate erbB-2-Mediated Invasion

open access: yesNeoplasia: An International Journal for Oncology Research, 2003
We have previously shown that human breast cancer cells that overexpress erbB-2 are growth factorindependent. In order to test the contribution of erbB2 to this and other transformed phenotypes without the genetic instability of cancer cells, erbB-2 was ...

Detection of c-erbB-2 mRNAs Using Dig-Labelled Oligonucleotide Probe with in situ Hybridisation in Human Breast Carcinoma: Comparison with Immunohistochemical Results

open access: yesAnalytical Cellular Pathology, 1998
Amplification and overexpression of the c-erbB-2 oncogene are of prognostic significance in human breast cancer. Overexpression of c-erbB-2 is the result of gene amplification.

The neural crest‐associated gene ERRFI1 is involved in melanoma progression and resistance toward targeted therapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
ERRFI1, a neural crest (NC)‐associated gene, was upregulated in melanoma and negatively correlated with the expression of melanocytic differentiation markers and the susceptibility of melanoma cells toward BRAF inhibitors (BRAFi). Knocking down ERRFI1 significantly increased the sensitivity of melanoma cells to BRAFi.
