Prenylated flavanone derivatives isolated from Erythrina addisoniae are potent inducers of apoptotic cell death [PDF]
NoExtracts of Erythrina addisoniae are frequently used in the traditional medicine of Western Africa, but insufficient information about active compounds is available. From the stem bark of E.

We used eDNA metabarcoding of faecal samples to quantify the dietary composition of two vervet monkey populations in a semi‐urban environment in South Africa over a 4‐month period, and compared these results with visual observations. We found that both methods yielded similar results, but eDNA metabarcoding revealed a greater diversity of consumed taxa.

AuNP-Agglomerated monoliths in pipette tips for lectin affinity extraction of glycoproteins [PDF]
• To in situ fabricate ethylene dimethacrylate porous polymer monoliths within the confines of a commercial 20 μL polypropylene pipette tips. • To enhance the monolith surface area by immobilising AuNPs and then functionalise the AuNPs with ECL lectin

Optimisation of the enzyme-linked lectin assay for enhanced glycoprotein and glycoconjugate analysis [PDF]
Lectin’s are proteins capable of recognising and binding to specific oligosaccharide tructures found on glycoproteins and other biomoloecules. As such they have found tility for glycoanalytical applications.

ABSTRACT Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are nanosized, membrane‐enclosed particles released by cells, facilitating intercellular communication via the transfer of bioactive molecules from producing to recipient cells. EVs are involved in several physiological and pathological processes, including cancer progression.

Soil Bacterial Diversity and Productivity of Coffee - Shade Tree Agro-ecosystems [PDF]
Coffee productions should have environmental values such as providing high soil microbial diversity while producinghigh yield. To examine that purposes, two experimental plots were constucted at benchmark site of Conservationand Sustainable Management of

Abstract Over 870 species of scale insects, also called coccoids (infraorder Coccomorpha), have been recorded from Australia. Here, we systematically review literature, databases and collections to provide a revised assessment of non‐native species to Australia, for which we confirm those species that are introduced and extant in Australia (including ...
