Enhancing Optoelectronic Properties in Phthalocyanine‐Based SURMOFs: Synthesis of ABAB Linkers by Avoiding Statistical Condensation with Tailored Building Blocks

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A novel phthalocyanine (PC)‐based metal–organic framework (MOFs) is synthesized using ditopic PC linkers obtained through regioselective statistical condensation. The resulting MOF exhibits significant improvements in electronic absorption, thereby enhancing the material's performance in light harvesting and energy conversion.

Synthesis, crystal structure and Hirshfeld surface of ethyl 2-[2-(methylsulfanyl)-5-oxo-4,4-diphenyl-4,5-dihydro-1H-imidazol-1-yl]acetate (thiophenytoin derivative)

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E: Crystallographic Communications
The dihydroimidazole ring in the title molecule, C20H20N2O3S, is slightly distorted and the lone pair on the tri-coordinate nitrogen atom is involved in intra-ring π bonding.

Composites of Shellac and Silver Nanowires as Flexible, Biobased, and Corrosion‐Resistant Transparent Conductive Electrodes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Shellac, a centuries‐old natural resin, is reimagined as a green material for flexible electronics. When combined with silver nanowires, shellac films deliver transparency, conductivity, and stability against humidity. These results position shellac as a sustainable alternative to synthetic polymers for transparent conductors in next‐generation ...

2,2,3,3-Tetrafluoropropyl 4-azido-2,3,5,6-Tetrafluorobenzoate

open access: yesMolbank
Organic azides are traditionally used in organic synthesis to obtain a wide variety of chemical compounds. This prompted us to report the synthesis of a new polyfluorinated aryl azide, 2,2,3,3-tetrafluoropropyl 4-azido-2,3,5,6-tetrafluorobenzoate, which ...

Non-adiabatic pulsations in ESTER models [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
One of the greatest challenges in interpreting the pulsations of rapidly rotating stars is mode identification, i.e. correctly matching theoretical modes to observed pulsation frequencies.

Diethyl 4,4′-{[1,2-phenylenebis(methylene)]bis(oxy)}dibenzoate

open access: yesIUCrData
The title compound, C26H26O6, consists of two methylene(oxy)ethylbenzoate moieties in ortho position to a phenyl ring. The central phenyl ring is almost coplanar with one of the ethylbenzoate fragments, which guarantees an electron delocalization within ...
