Estrus behavior in Guzera (Bos taurus indicus) breed cows [PDF]
The estrus behavior was evaluated during an induced and natural subsequent estrus in twelve Guzera breed cows, in the winter and summer seasons in two consecutive years. The proportion of cows that responded to estrus synchronization was 84.8%.

Status of On-Farm Artificial Insemination Services and Effectiveness of Oestrus Synchronization in Dairy Cattle Under Small-Scale Dairy Farming System. [PDF]
Cross‐sectional survey and retrospective data on the oestrus synchronization were collected and analysed. The predominant mating system practiced by dairy farmers was AI (55.6%), and 73.5% of farmers apply controlled mating. The highest response rate and pregnancy rate were 89.5% and 45.2%, respectively, whereas a birth rate of 9.6%–18.5% was obtained.
