Ethanolamines as Corrosion Inhibitors for Zinc in (HNO3+H2SO4) Binary Acid Mixture

open access: yesE-Journal of Chemistry, 2010
This work deals with the study of corrosion behaviour for zinc in (HNO3+ H2SO4) binary acid mixture containing ethanolamines. Corrosion rate increases with concentration of acid and temperature.

10种脂肪酰乙醇胺制备工艺优化及其结构表征Process optimization of preparation of 10 fatty acid ethanolamines and its structural characterization

open access: yesZhongguo youzhi, 2022

Vaporization and Conversion of Ethanolamines used in Metalworking Operations

open access: yesSafety and Health at Work, 2010
Objectives: This study examined how ethanolamines (EAs) with the same functional alcohol group (HOCH2CH2), such as mono-EA (MEA), di-EA (DEA), and tri-EA (TEA), in water-based metalworking fluids (wbMWFs) are vaporized, condensed, and transformed by heat

Characterization of occupational exposures to cleaning products used for common cleaning tasks-a pilot study of hospital cleaners [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Background In recent years, cleaning has been identified as an occupational risk because of an increased incidence of reported respiratory effects, such as asthma and asthma-like symptoms among cleaning workers. Due to the lack of systematic occupational

Dietary food patterns as determinants of the gut microbiome–endocannabinoidome axis in humans

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2023
The gut microbiota and the endocannabinoidome (eCBome) play important roles in regulating energy homeostasis, and both are closely linked to dietary habits. However, the complex and compositional nature of these variables has limited our understanding of

Integrating transcriptome and metabolome to identify key genes regulating important muscular flavour precursors in sheep

open access: yesAnimal, 2022
Flavour precursors are the basis of meat flavour, and their metabolism is regulated by a variety of enzymes. Thus, it is of great significance to identify the key genes related to meat flavour precursors.

Hazardous substances in frequently used professional cleaning products [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
A growing number of studies have identified cleaners as a group at risk for adverse health effects of the skin and the respiratory tract. Chemical substances present in cleaning products could be responsible for these effects.
