ETS-1 – a temporal regulator of cytotoxic function for CD8 T cells through activation-induced alternative splicing 4651

Journal of Immunology
Since cancer is an evolving disease with rapid proliferation and dynamic evolution, maintaining efficient killing of cancer cells by cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs) is necessary for immunotherapy to be effective.

Fatty acid synthesis promotes mtDNA release via ETS1-mediated oligomerization of VDAC1 facilitating endothelial dysfunction in sepsis-induced lung injury

Cell Death and Differentiation
Sepsis involves endothelial cell dysfunction leading to the development of lung injury. Fatty acid synthesis contributes to the development of inflammatory injury in sepsis.

Restriction fragment length polymorphisms in theETS-1 proto-oncogene Comparison of Saudi and Western populations

Experientia, 1988
We have cloned part of the ETS 1 proto-oncogene and demonstrated the presence of two polymorphic Sst I restriction sites. A probe derived from one of our clones revealed the presence of 8.3 kb, 9.5 kb and/or 11.5 kb fragments on Southern blots of human DNA samples.

Polymorphism of the proto-oncogene ETS-1 in hematological malignancies.

open access: closedLeukemia, 1990
We studied a novel restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) of the proto-oncogenes ETS-1 that we detected in a patient with an acute monocytic leukemia by the presence of two, 3.7 and 10 kb, Xbal fragments on Southern blots of DNA from blast cells and remission blood samples. RFLP analysis of a series of 114 normal donors revealed that only four

Elucidating Regulatory Mechanisms of Genes Involved in Pathobiology of Sjögren’s Disease: Immunostimulation Using a Cell Culture Model

International Journal of Molecular Sciences
Sjögren’s disease (SjD) is an autoimmune disease of exocrine tissues. Prior research has shown that ETS proto-oncogene 1 (ETS1), STAT1, and IL33 may contribute to the disease’s pathology.

A parallel and cascade control system: magnetofection of miR125b for synergistic tumor-association macrophage polarization regulation and tumor cell suppression in breast cancer treatment.

Nanoscale, 2020
Polarization regulation of tumor-association macrophages (TAMs) is a promising treatment method for tumors, but aiming at TAMs alone shows unsatisfactory therapeutic efficiency.

Identification of Skin Multicellular Reprogramming Factors as Potential Treatment for Nonhealing Diabetic Foot Ulcers

Advances in wound care
Objective: In a complex environment such as that in a diabetic foot ulcer (DFU), multiple factors, including cross talk between distinct cell types of the affected tissue, play a significant role.

Transcriptional Regulation of XPR1 by ETS1 in Hepatocellular Carcinoma: A Link Between EMT and Phosphate Metabolism

Journal of Advanced Research in Natural and Applied Sciences
Metabolic adaptation is a hallmark of cancer, with phosphate homeostasis playing a crucial role in supporting tumor growth and survival. SLC53A1, xenotropic and polytropic retrovirus receptor 1 (XPR1), the only known inorganic phosphate exporter in ...

ETS1 potentiates pancreatic Pyroptosis in mice with acute pancreatitis by regulating the NKIRAS1/NF-κB Axis.

International Immunopharmacology
BACKGROUND The transcriptional regulation of pyroptosis in acute pancreatitis (AP) remains poorly understood. This study aims to elucidate the role of the transcription factor ETS proto-oncogene 1 (ETS1) and its association with pyroptosis in AP ...

ets-1 and ets-2 proto-oncogene expression in human leukemia cells and cell lines.

Nouvelle revue francaise d'hematologie, 1990
c-ets-1 and c-ets-2 are 2 proto-oncogenes known to be possibly involved in some human myelomonocytic leukemias. However, very few studies concern c-ets-1 and c-ets-2 RNA expression in human hematologic malignancies. We have studied 18 leukemic patients, and 10 cell lines for their ets RNA contents.
