Discovery of an Atypical Arp2/3 Complex in Malaria Parasites Sheds New Light on Nuclear Actin

Previously believed absent in apicomplexan parasites, we recently identified an atypical Arp2/3 complex in malaria parasites consisting of five divergent subunits and a putative kinetochore‐associated factor.
