Drawing Graphs in Euler Diagrams [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
We describe a method for drawing graph-enhanced Euler diagrams using a three stage method. The first stage is to lay out the underlying Euler diagram using a multicriteria optimizing system. The second stage is to find suitable locations for nodes in the

Leader-Following Consensus of Multiple Euler-Lagrange Systems Under Deception Attacks

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2021
In this paper, the leader-following consensus problem of a multi-Euler-Lagrange system is studied under deception attacks, where attackers can inject the false data into the data being exchanged over the communication network between two Euler-Lagrange ...

General Euler Diagram Generation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Euler diagrams are a natural method of representing set-theoretic data and have been employed in diverse areas such as Visualizing statistical data, as a basis for diagrammatic logics and for displaying the results of database search queries.

Modeling, Synchronization, and FPGA Implementation of Hamiltonian Conservative Hyperchaos

open access: yesComplexity, 2020
Conservative chaotic systems have potentials in engineering application because of their superiority over the dissipative systems in terms of ergodicity and integer dimension.

The Euler Adic Dynamical System and Path Counts in the Euler Graph

open access: yesTokyo Journal of Mathematics, 2010
We give a formula for generalized Eulerian numbers, prove monotonicity of sequences of certain ratios of the Eulerian numbers, and apply these results to obtain a new proof that the natural symmetric measure for the Bratteli-Vershik dynamical system based on the Euler graph is the unique fully supported invariant ergodic Borel probability measure.

How Should We Use Colour in Euler Diagrams? [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
This paper addresses the problem of how best to use colour in Euler diagrams. The choice of using coloured curves, rather than black curves, possibly with coloured fill is often made in tools that automatically draw Euler diagrams for information ...

Use of gamma Ray computed tomography (CT) and computer aided radioactive particle tracking (CARPT) in multiphase reactors [PDF]

open access: yesHemijska Industrija, 2003
This brief review focuses on the work performed at the Chemical Reaction Engineering Laboratory (CREL) at Washington University, St. Louis, in using Computer Aided Radioactive Particle Tracking (CARPT) and Gamma Ray Computed Tomography (CT), in ...

The Impact of Shape on the Perception of Euler Diagrams [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Euler diagrams are often used for visualizing data collected into sets. However, there is a significant lack of guidance regarding graphical choices for Euler diagram layout.
