The study considers the use of polymer/dielectric‐based multilayers piezoelectric Energy Harvesters (EH) to produce an output voltage and current, by exploiting the mechanical energy provided by human organs movements. In particular, the heart motion is considered from the kinematic viewpoint, and a multiphysics theoretical model is developed to assess

Fabrication of Fibers With Complex Features Using Thermal Drawing of 3D‐Printed Preforms
3D printing enables rapid fabrication of macroscale polymer preforms with complex geometries. Thermal drawing then scales these structures into long fibers while preserving micron‐scale cross‐sectional features. This workflow provides a fast, low‐cost route to functional fibers with tailored geometries and material combinations for catheter, robotic ...

This article investigates an aggregative game based on Euler-Lagrange systems subject to time-varying communication delays. First, a distributed algorithm is put forward to try to find the Nash equilibrium by the deliberated group of Euler-Lagrange ...

Low stratification of the complete Euler system
The present paper takes advantage of the concept of dissipative measure-valued solutions to show the rigorous derivation of the Euler-Boussinesq (EB) system that has been successfully used in various meteorological models. In particular, we show that EB system can be obtained as a singular limit of the complete Euler system.

Rotating Fluorescent Nanodiamond Assemblies With Focused Laguerre–Gaussian Beams
Self‐assembled fluorescent nanodiamond clusters are optically trapped and driven into controlled two‐dimensional rotation with Laguerre–Gaussian beams. With localized optical excitation, optically detected magnetic resonance spectra are collected at defined points along the orbit in a uniform external magnetic field.

Fractional Euler-Lagrange Equations Applied to Oscillatory Systems
In this paper, we applied the Riemann-Liouville approach and the fractional Euler-Lagrange equations in order to obtain the fractional nonlinear dynamic equations involving two classical physical applications: “Simple Pendulum” and the “Spring-Mass ...

Relaxation schemes for the multicomponent Euler system [PDF]
Summary: We show that it is possible to construct a class of entropic schemes for the multicomponent Euler system describing a gas or fluid homogeneous mixture in thermodynamic equilibrium by applying a relaxation technique. A first-order Chapman-Enskog expansion shows that the relaxed system formally converges when the relaxation frequencies go to ...

A codesign multiobjective optimization framework was developed to enhance the morphology and controller of a snake‐like robot driven by artificial muscles. It improved planar locomotion, agility, and power efficiency. The approach optimized link geometry and controller gains, revealing that shorter muscles near joints and longer linkages maximize ...
