Spectra of W VIII and W IX in the EUV Region [PDF]
The results obtained on the W VIII spectrum as well as on the isoelectronic spectra Lu V, Hf VI, Ta VII, and Re IX in the VUV wavelength region are summarized with emphasis on the main trends along the isoelectronic sequence.

Looking for the FIP Effect in EUV Spectra [PDF]
We present results from a study of extreme-ultraviolet (EUV) off-limb spectra obtained with the SUMER instrument on the spacecraft SOHO. Using EUV line intensities, we deduce plasma temperatures and densities in the off-limb solar plasma. We make use of this information to study the FIP effect in the solar corona.

A Global Survey of EUV Coronal Power Spectra [PDF]
We present results of a global survey of single-pixel intensity power spectra from a 12-hour time period on 26 June 2013 in a 1600x1600 pixel region from four channels of the Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) Atmospheric Imaging Assembly (AIA) instrument.

INFERRING THE CORONAL DENSITY IRREGULARITY FROM EUV SPECTRA [PDF]
ABSTRACT Understanding the density structure of the solar corona is important for modeling both coronal heating and the solar wind. Direct measurements are difficult because of line-of-sight integration and possible unresolved structures.

The Kepler space telescope and Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite unveiled that Sun-like stars frequently host exoplanets. These exoplanets are subject to fluxes of ionizing radiation in the form of X-ray and extreme-ultraviolet (EUV) radiation that ...

EUVE Spectra of Coronae and Flares [PDF]
Following a summary of early solar EUV spectroscopy the spectra of some late-type stars obtained with the Extreme Ultraviolet Explorer (EUVE) are briefly surveyed. Some transitions which are not included in current emissivity codes but could lead to numerous weak lines, and an apparent continuum in the EUVE short wavelength region, are discussed.

Reconstruction of the solar EUV irradiance from 1996 to 2010 based on SOHO/EIT images
The solar Extreme UltraViolet (EUV) spectrum has important effects on the Earth’s upper atmosphere. For a detailed investigation of these effects it is important to have a consistent data series of the EUV spectral irradiance available.

Experimental spectroscopic studies are presented, in a 5.5–25.5 nm extreme-ultraviolet (EUV) wavelength range, of the light emitted from plasma produced by the irradiation of tin microdroplets by 5-ns-pulsed, 2-μm-wavelength laser light. Emission spectra

Tailoring EUV high-harmonic spectra via nonlinear propagation in MgO crystals [PDF]
High-harmonic generation (HHG) in solids offers a promising pathway toward compact extreme-ultraviolet (EUV) sources; however, the influence of nonlinear propagation effects in the crystal remains underexplored.
