Nuclear Physics A, 1989 Abstract We use a systematic analysis of experimental data for 112–128Te to provide evidence for existence of intruder excitations in 116–124Te. We augment our analysis with mixed configuration IBM-2 calculations and find good agreement between these calculations and both experimental energy-level systematics and transition rates.
