We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

ESVIO: Event-Based Stereo Visual-Inertial Odometry
The emerging event cameras are bio-inspired sensors that can output pixel-level brightness changes at extremely high rates, and event-based visual-inertial odometry (VIO) is widely studied and used in autonomous robots. In this paper, we propose an event-

Peripheral lysosomes recruit PLEKHG3 to focal adhesions and restrain protrusion dynamics
Proximity‐dependent labeling at the LAMTOR complex revealed the Rho GEF PLEKHG3 as a lysosome‐proximal protein directing the study toward the influence of lysosome positioning on actin dynamics and cell motility. We show that PLEKHG3 colocalizes with lysosomes at focal adhesion sites and observe that forced peripheral dispersion of lysosomes hinders ...

Events-To-Video: Bringing Modern Computer Vision to Event Cameras [PDF]
Event cameras are novel sensors that report brightness changes in the form of asynchronous “events” instead of intensity frames. They have significant advantages over conventional cameras: high temporal resolution, high dynamic range, and no motion blur.

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

CED: Color Event Camera Dataset [PDF]
Event cameras are novel, bio-inspired visual sensors, whose pixels output asynchronous and independent timestamped spikes at local intensity changes, called 'events'. Event cameras offer advantages over conventional frame-based cameras in terms of latency, high dynamic range (HDR) and temporal resolution. Until recently, event cameras have been limited

MITF maintains genome stability in nonmelanocyte lineages
MITF is essential for melanocyte survival and acts as an oncogene in 10%–20% of melanomas. We show that MITF depletion causes genome instability in nonmelanocytic cells, leading to LATS2‐mediated P53 activation, cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis. This study highlights the role of MITF as a genome maintenance factor beyond the melanocyte lineage. Created

Inter-event interval microscopy for event cameras
Event cameras detect intensity changes rather than absolute intensity, recording variations as a stream of “event.” Intensity reconstruction from these sparse events remains a significant challenge. Previous approaches focused on transforming motion-induced events into videos or achieving intensity imaging for static scenes through

Event Camera Data Pre-training
This paper proposes a pre-trained neural network for handling event camera data. Our model is a self-supervised learning framework, and uses paired event camera data and natural RGB images for training. Our method contains three modules connected in a sequence: i) a family of event data augmentations, generating meaningful event images for self ...

Faces in Event Streams (FES): An Annotated Face Dataset for Event Cameras
The use of event-based cameras in computer vision is a growing research direction. However, despite the existing research on face detection using the event camera, a substantial gap persists in the availability of a large dataset featuring annotations ...
