Stimulator of interferon genes agonist augmented antitumor immunity of osimertinib in Egfr‐mutated lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Evolutionary testing in component-based real-time system construction

open access: yes, 2022
S.1393Execution time analysis is an essential verification activity during real-time system development. This activity can be performed dynamically through optimization-based analysis techniques such as evolutionary testing, and it is already ...

Comparison of Evolutionary Techniques for Value-at-Risk Calculation

open access: yes, 2007
The Value-at-Risk (VaR)approach has been used for measuring and controlling the market risks in financial institutions. Studies show that the t-distribution is more suited to representing the financial asset returns in VaR calculations than the commonly used normal distribution.

Comparative study on the application of evolutionary optimization techniques to orbit transfer maneuvers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Orbit transfer maneuvers are here considered as benchmark cases for comparing performance of different optimization techniques in the framework of direct methods. Two different classes of evolutionary algorithms, a conventional genetic algorithm and an

USP29‐regulated noncanonical stabilization of the hypoxia‐inducible factor‐α in aggressive prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

Evolutionary Computation and Its Applications in Neural and Fuzzy Systems

open access: yesApplied Computational Intelligence and Soft Computing, 2011
Neural networks and fuzzy systems are two soft-computing paradigms for system modelling. Adapting a neural or fuzzy system requires to solve two optimization problems: structural optimization and parametric optimization.

Electricity Peak Load Forecasting using CGP based Neuro Evolutionary Techniques

open access: yesInternational Journal of Computational Intelligence Systems, 2016
Proficient Economic and Financial planning is critical to the successful and efficient operation of power generating and distributing units. This planning becomes quite facile if the accurate and precise knowledge regarding the required power load is ...

Exploring Evolutionary Economic Geographies [PDF]

open access: yes
Evolutionary approaches in economics have gathered increasing support over the last 25 years. Despite an impressive body of literature, economists are still far from formulating a coherent research paradigm.

Synthesis of a compact wind profile using evolutionary algorithms for wind turbine system with storage [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
In this paper, the authors investigate two methodologies for synthesizing compact wind speed profiles by means of evolutionary algorithms. Such profile can be considered as input parameter in a prospective design process by optimization of a passive wind

Epigenetic heterogeneity and plasticity in therapy‐induced tumor states through single‐cell multi‐omics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.
