A complete chloroplast genome of Sedum lushanense S. S. Lai 2004 (Crassulaceae: Crassuloideae)
We determined the complete chloroplast genome sequence of Sedum lushanense S. S. Lai 2004. The genome was 148,691 bp in length, including a large single copy (LSC; 80,497 bp), a small single copy (SSC; 16,620 bp), and two inverted repeats (IR; 25,787 bp)

YIPFα1A expression is regulated by multilayered molecular mechanisms
YIPFα1A, a five‐pass Golgi protein, is regulated at multiple layers. (1) Rare‐codon enrichment drives translation‐coupled mRNA decay. (2) A proximal 3′‐UTR element stabilizes mRNA. (3) A distal 3′‐UTR element included by alternate poly(A) site usage represses translation, which can be overridden by the proximal 3′‐UTR element.

Genetic consequences of in situ and ex situ conservation of forest trees [PDF]
To counteract loss of genetic diversity crucial for current and future tree improvement, tree breeders have conserved forest genetic resources in situ in their natural ecosystems in protected areas or ex situ in plantations, seed orchards, and breeding ...

The temperature dependence of fatigue behavior in nickel‐based superalloys is investigated through high‐resolution measurements of plastic localization. While increasing temperature reduces localization and enhances fatigue performance in René 88DT, Inconel 718 exhibits a sharp degradation at intermediate temperature due to intensified slip ...

Isothermal Gasification of in Situ/ex Situ Coal Char with CO2 in a Micro Fluidized Bed Reaction Analyzer [PDF]
The so-called micro fluidized bed reaction analyzer (MFBRA) was adopted to implement the isothermal gasification of in situ coal char with CO2 under minimized external diffusion inhibition. It was done by keeping the reaction atmosphere and temperature
