Laparoscopic Delivery of a MnO2‐P‐ICG Patch for Photodynamic Therapy and NK Cell‐Driven Immunotherapy in Hepatocellular Carcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 32, 9 June 2026.
This study proposes a flexible MnO2‐P‐ICG nanofiber patch for laparoscopic treatment of liver tumors. The patch alleviates tumor hypoxia and induces photodynamic therapy (PDT) triggered immunogenic cell death, thereby activating the cGAS‐STING pathway and, in synergy with pachymaran, promoting NK cell–mediated innate immunity. This synergistic strategy

EX VITRO ROOTING AND ACCLIMATIZATION OF Ilex paraguariensis A. St Hil. MICROCUTTINGS

open access: yes, 2016
The technique of microcutting and ex vitro rooting can result in plantlets with better quality of radicular system and larger number of secondary roots, when compared with conventional cutting. The objective of this work was to evaluate the ex vitro rooting and acclimatization of holly microcuttings in different doses of phytoregulator indole-3-butyric

Fabrication of High‐Density Multimodal Neural Probes Based on Heterogeneously Integrated CMOS

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 34, 19 June 2026.
A chiplet‐based methodology democratizes active neural probe development on standard bulk CMOS services. This yields the first probe combining high‐density electrophysiology (416 electrodes) with calcium imaging (832 photodiodes) and complete on‐chip signal processing across 13 shanks.

Astrocytic Mitochondria Transplantation Rescues Neuron Loss and Dendritic Injuries in Acute Cerebral Ischemic Stroke Mouse Model by Flexibly Regulating Mitochondria Dynamics

open access: yesAnnals of Neurology, Volume 99, Issue 6, Page 1571-1588, June 2026.
Objective Cerebral ischemic stroke causes neuronal oxygen/energy deprivation, disrupting mitochondrial function including reduced membrane potential and bioenergetics, exacerbating neuronal injury. Mitochondrial defects are, therefore, a central neuropathological node and potential therapeutic target.

Urinary exosomes aggravate diabetic kidney disease by inducing podocyte ferroptosis via the miR‐217/SIRT1/Nrf2 pathway

open access: yesJournal of Cell Communication and Signaling, Volume 20, Issue 2, June 2026.
These findings indicate that urinary exosomal miR‐217 promotes podocyte ferroptosis and DKD progression via suppression of the SIRT1/Nrf2 pathway, suggesting a potential therapeutic target for DKD. Abstract Urinary exosomal microRNAs (miRNAs) mediate intercellular communication in diabetic kidney disease (DKD), a leading contributor to end‐stage renal ...

Ceramide‐mediated mitochondrial dysfunction in nonobese nonalcoholic fatty liver disease: A regulatory role for serine palmitoyltransferase subunit 2

open access: yesJournal of Cell Communication and Signaling, Volume 20, Issue 2, June 2026.
Serine palmitoyltransferase long chain base subunit 2 (Sptlc2) promotes ceramide‐associated mitochondrial dysfunction in nonobese nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). A dry‐fried soybean‐induced nonobese NAFLD model shows Sptlc2 upregulation, ceramide accumulation, and mitochondrial dysfunction.

Multi‐omics reveals a novel Cxcr4+ subpopulation of alveolar macrophages and therapeutic effect of AMD3100 in mice with advanced silicosis

open access: yesClinical and Translational Medicine, Volume 16, Issue 6, June 2026.
The progression of silicosis‐associated fibrosis relies on a positive feedback loop mediated by crosstalk between Cxcr4+ macrophages and Cxcl12+ fibroblasts and the therapeutic potential of targeting the Cxcl12/Cxcr4 axis with AMD3100 as a novel strategy for treating silicosis.
