Abstract Photoautotrophic micropropagation (PA) in a sugar-free medium can facilitate acclimatization and increase success rates when transplanting tissue cultured plants to open fields. To identify savings in production costs (time and energy) during acclimatization in wasabi plants, we used in vitro PA with four kinds of supporting material (agar ...

Abstract The in-vitro acclimatization of Phalaenopsis plantlets under photoautotrophic conditions, with 0 (control), 3.43, 6.86 and 13.72 μM uniconazole (UCZ) treatments for 30 days was investigated before the plantlets were transferred to ex-vitro environments for 14 days. The physiological and growth characters of in-vitro acclimatized, and

We investigated the effect of carbon dioxide (CO2)-ambient (350 µmol CO2 mol−1) and CO2-enriched (1500 µmol CO2 mol−1) conditions of in vitro photoautotrophic system on two cultivars, ‘RRIM600’ and ‘RRIT413’ of rubber tree (Hevea brasiliensis) in an acclimatization process of 45 days.

The dye gentian violet was added to culture medium in order to distinguish in vitro and ex vitro-formed roots during acclimatization of micropropagated plantlets. Shoots of the grapevine rootstock Kober 5BB were rooted on media containing the dye (0.3 and 0.15 mg·l−1) for 3 weeks. The dye coloured the roots.

We investigated changes in physiological characteristics of micropropagated juvenile avocado (Persea americana Mill.) cultured in three different su- crose concentrations (5, 30 and 50 g/l) for 4 weeks and subsequently acclimatized to ex vitro conditions.
