The alloy system CuBrxI1−x is grown by pulsed laser deposition. The structural, optical, and electrical properties of thin films on glass and c‐sapphire are presented. Radial and azimuthal target segmentation allow the fabrication of homogeneous films and a material library with a continuous composition spread, respectively.

Toward Ultrawide Bandgap Engineering: Physical Properties of an α‐(TixGa1−x)2O3 Material Library
The material system α‐(TixGa1−x)2O3 has potential applications in optoelectronics as it theoretically offers a bandgap tunable over a wide range from 0.14 to 5.6 eV. In the present work, spatially addressable material libraries of (TixGa1−x)yOz are realized using combinatorial material synthesis.

Importance of Fluorine in High Voltage Electrolytes for LNMO||SiGr Cell Chemistry
A non‐flammable fluorinated electrolyte is developed for a high voltage LNMO||SiGr (20 wt.% Si) cell chemistry to improve the cycle life until 80% SOH by 56% compared to the reference cell chemistry. This electrolyte prevents the roll‐over effect and suppresses side reactions, resulting in an effective solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) and cathode ...

Intrinsic Ferroelectric Polarization in Doped HfO2 and ZrO2
It is shown that ionic currents in ferroelectric capacitors based on doped HfO2 and ZrO2 can overlap the genuine switching current, leading to an overestimation of the ferroelectric polarization and even the misidentification of a paraelectric material as ferroelectric.

Circularly polarized luminescence from supramolecular assemblies based on small molecules
This minireview outlines the recent advances of circularly polarized luminescence (CPL)‐active supramolecular assemblies based on small molecules. It covers fundamental concepts of CPL, typical design strategies of CPL‐active materials—including the assembly of chiral luminophores, the assembly of chiral components and achiral luminophores, and the ...
