Ultrathin Freestanding BiFeO3 Membranes Grown by Pulsed Laser Deposition
Ultrathin freestanding BiFeO3 membranes down to five‐unit cells are realized by pulsed laser deposition using a water‐soluble Sr3Al2O6 sacrificial layer. Strontium diffusion is revealed to drive the spontaneous formation of an Aurivillius‐like phase, while ultrathin SrRuO3 interlayers suppress interfacial intermixing, preserve polar tetragonality, and ...

Seeded Growth of Plasmonic Core‐Shell NU‐1000 NanoMOFs With Intracellular Optical Readout
Seed‐mediated growth yields plasmonic core‐shell nanocomposites by encapsulating gold nanoparticles within NU‐1000 nanoMOFs, preserving morphology and optical response. The materials exhibit tunable photoluminescence quenching, efficient photothermal heating, and SERS activity.

Molecular‐Scale Geometric Control of Organosiloxane Cage Frameworks Via Rigid Organic Bridges
Rigid phenylene bridges with predefined Si–Ph–Si angles enable molecular‐level control of cage‐type organosiloxane frameworks. Hydrolysis and condensation of meta‐ and para‐bis(triethoxysilyl)benzene in the presence of tetramethylammonium hydroxide yield a mixture of cage trimers and tetramers, and hexamers, respectively, providing a new insight into ...

Appraisal of Six Natural Mica Reference Materials for In Situ Rb‐Sr Geochronology
Key Points Evaluated six natural mica reference materials for in situ LA‐ICP‐MS/MS Rb‐Sr geochronology using geochemical, microstructural and isotopic characterisation. Identified robust primary reference materials: Mount Dromedary biotite (99.37 Ma) and Mica‐Fe biotite (307.75 Ma). La Posta biotite and Högsbo muscovite are suitable secondary reference

Swiss Practice Recommendations for Chronic Prurigo Including Prurigo Nodularis
Chronic prurigo, including prurigo nodularis, is a chronic, often treatment‐refractory condition characterized by persistent pruritus and chronic scratch lesions. Advances in the understanding of its underlying pathophysiology have enabled the development of novel targeted therapies; however, management remains challenging due to the expanding range of

Marine migration influences mercury accumulation in anadromous Arctic char (Salvelinus alpinus)
Abstract Mercury (Hg) is a globally distributed toxic metal present in northern natural environments that biomagnifies in food webs and bioaccumulates in apex predator fish, such as Arctic char (Salvelinus alpinus)—an iteroparous species with a circumpolar distribution. Arctic char exhibit a variety of life history types, with the migrating, anadromous

ABSTRACT Reconstructing the pressure–temperature–time (P–T–t) evolution of (ultra)high‐pressure rocks is essential for constraining subduction and collisional dynamics. Subduction zones are often investigated using basic eclogites, whereas nonbasic high‐pressure rocks remain comparatively understudied, potentially hindering a comprehensive ...
