Existence and uniqueness of the solution to a 3D thermoviscoelastic system
This paper presents results on existence and uniqueness of solutions to a three-dimensional thermoviscoelastic system. The constitutive relations of the model are recovered by a free energy functional and a pseudo-potential of dissipation.

Global existence of a solution to a phase field model for supercooling
In this work, we will derive a macroscopic model of phase field type for supercooling. The phase transition process is described by the evolution of the temperature and the volume fraction of the liquid phase.

Phosphoinositides and inositol phosphates as molecular glues
Inositol phosphates (IPs) and phosphoinositides (PIPs) regulate diverse eukaryotic processes. Beyond recruiting signaling proteins or acting as structural cofactors, recent studies suggest they mediate protein–protein interactions as natural molecular glues.

We study a priori estimate, existence, and uniqueness of solutions with symmetric derivatives for a third-order boundary value problem. The main tool in the proof of our existence result is Leray-Schauder continuation principle.

EXISTENCE AND UNIQUENESS OF CHAIN LADDER SOLUTIONS
AbstractThe cross-classified chain ladder has a number of versions, depending on the distribution to which observations are subject. The simplest case is that of Poisson distributed observations, and then maximum likelihood estimates of parameters are explicit.

Structural insights and therapeutic targets in Acinetobacter baumannii capsule biosynthesis
Hypervirulent KL49 A. baumannii's capsular polysaccharide contains the nonulosonic acid 8‐epi‐Leg5,7Ac2, synthesized by epimerization via ElaA, ElaB, and ElaC. Crystal structures of ElaA, ElaB, and ElaC reveal their role in CMP‐Leg5,7Ac2 synthesis and regioselective C8 epimerization.

Existence and uniqueness of solution for a fractional hepatitis B model
Understanding the dynamics of infectious diseases using mathematical modeling is essential for developing prevention and control measures. Hepatitis B is still a major public health issue in many places, including Kenya, where the high incidence of ...

Design and analysis strategies for robust microbiome ageing research
The gut microbiome changes with age and associates with age‐related morbidity and mortality, establishing it as a potential biomarker and intervention target for ageing. Realising this potential requires methodological rigour, yet distinguishing biological signals from methodological artefacts remains challenging across cohorts. This review provides an
