The enzymatic basis of processivity in l exonuclease

open access: yes, 2003
l Exonuclease is a highly processive 5¢®3 ¢ exo-nuclease that degrades double-stranded (ds)DNA. The single-stranded DNA produced by l exo-nuclease is utilized by homologous pairing proteins to carry out homologous recombination.

Switching between polymerase and exonuclease sites in DNA polymerase ε

open access: yes, 2014
The balance between exonuclease and polymerase activities promotes DNA synthesis over degradation when nucleotides are correctly added to the new strand by replicative B-family polymerases. Misincorporations shift the balance toward the exonuclease site,

Near‐T2T genome assembly of Erigeron sumatrensis provides insights into polyploid evolution and the herbicidal efficiency of HPPD inhibitors

open access: yesNew Plant Protection, EarlyView.
The near‐T2T genome assembly of Erigeron sumatrensis reveals an allohexaploid origin, evolution, and the interaction between the herbicidal target of the HPPD family and mesotrione. Abstract Species of Erigeron, members of the family Asteraceae, have invaded and adapted to agricultural fields and uncultivated habitats worldwide. Erigeron sumatrensis is

Dedifferentiation in endometrial cancer is associated with HLA‐I silencing that may be restored by IFN‐γ

open access: yesThe Journal of Pathology, EarlyView.
Abstract Dedifferentiated endometrial carcinoma occurs when a prognostically favorable low‐grade endometrial carcinoma transforms into a highly aggressive undifferentiated carcinoma following genomic inactivation of core SWItch/Sucrose Non‐Fermentable (SWI/SNF) complex protein(s).

A single-strand DNA binding endo-exonuclease of Neurospora crass /

open access: yes, 1981
Employing successive chromatography on DEAE-Sepharose and on single-strand (ss) DNA-cellulose, a new form of Neurospora endo-exonuclease has been isolated, a Mg('2+)-dependent ss-DNA-binding endo-exonuclease.

Programmable Assembly of Higher‐Order DNA Nanostructures from Microbial ssDNA Staple Libraries

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
A phage‐free, microbial platform produces programmable circular ssDNA libraries that are enzymatically converted into DNA origami staple pools. Rolling‐circle replication generates sequence‐complex ssDNA with >99% fidelity, enabling assembly of DNA tiles and tubules and supporting nanostructure formation even in crude cellular lysates.
