Design and Experimental Verification of Urban Rail Transit Flexible Formation Train Reconnection Functionality

open access: yesChengshi guidao jiaotong yanjiu
Objective During off-peak hours, large train departure interval is adopted for off-peak urban rail transit passenger flow, however, it is commonly faced with issues of low seat occupancy rates and high energy consumption.

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Control System Design and Experimental Verification of Capsubot

open access: yes, 2008
This paper is concerned with the development of the Capsule Robot (Capsubot) which can move with no external parts. It is easy to be constructed in small scale and maybe can be used for medical uses such as the endoscope since the Capsubot moves ...

PHOTONICS TECHNOLOGY AS A WAY FOR UPGRADING KEY TECHNICAL FEATURES OF RADIO-SIGNAL DELAY DEVICES

open access: yesРоссийский технологический журнал, 2017
Based on the previous results for our investigations of various retarding materials for super-wide bandwidth long-term delay lines and shortcomings of the available fiberoptic delay links based on binary delay chain where semiconductor optical switches ...

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Approximation Based Safety and Stability Verification of Hybrid Systems

open access: yes, 2011
"With the advent of computers to control various physical processes, there has emerged a new class of systems which contain tight interactions between the ""discrete"" digital world and the ""continuous"" physical world. These systems which exhibit mixed
