An Efficient Explicit Decoupled Group Method for Solving Two–Dimensional Fractional Burgers’ Equation and Its Convergence Analysis

open access: yesAdvances in Mathematical Physics, 2021
In this paper, the Crank–Nicolson (CN) and rotated four-point fractional explicit decoupled group (EDG) methods are introduced to solve the two-dimensional time–fractional Burgers’ equation.

Characterizing Parental Concerns About Lasting Impacts of Treatment in Children With B‐Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background B‐acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B‐ALL) is the most common pediatric cancer, and while most children in high‐resource settings are cured, therapy carries risks for long‐term toxicities. Understanding parents’ concerns about these late effects is essential to guide anticipatory support and inform evolving therapeutic approaches ...

Clinical Characteristics and Prognostic Risk Factors for Pediatric B‐Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma: A Multicenter Retrospective Cohort Study for China Net Childhood Lymphoma

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background B‐cell lymphoblastic lymphoma (B‐LBL) represents a rare variety of non‐Hodgkin lymphoma, with limited research on its biology, progression, and management. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on the clinical characteristics of 256 patients aged ≤18 years who received treatment under the China Net Childhood Lymphoma (CNCL)‐

Isometric endomorphisms of free groups [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
An arbitrary homomorphism between groups is nonincreasing for stable commutator length, and there are infinitely many (injective) homomorphisms between free groups which strictly decrease the stable commutator length of some elements. However, we show in

A Markov chain approach to renormalization group transformations

open access: yes, 2012
We aim at an explicit characterization of the renormalized Hamiltonian after decimation transformation of a one-dimensional Ising-type Hamiltonian with a nearest-neighbor interaction and a magnetic field term.

Exercise Interventions in Children, Adolescents and Young Adults With Paediatric Bone Tumours—A Systematic Review

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Bone tumours present significant challenges for affected patients, as multimodal therapy often leads to prolonged physical limitations. This is particularly critical during childhood and adolescence, as it can negatively impact physiological development and psychosocial resilience.

Alternating group explicit method for the diffusion equation

open access: yesApplied Mathematical Modelling, 1985
An alternating group explicit method is presented for the finite difference solution of the diffusion equation. The method uses stable asymmetric approximations to the partial differential equation which, when coupled in groups of two adjacent points on the grid, result in implicit equations which can be easily converted to explicit form.

Solutions to the Optical Cascading Equations

open access: yes, 1998
Group theoretical methods are used to study the equations describing \chi^{(2)}:\chi^{(2)} cascading. The equations are shown not to be integrable by inverse scattering techniques.
