Optimized Time–Frequency Analysis for Induction Motor Fault Detection Using Hybrid Differential Evolution and Deep Learning Techniques

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView.
Workflow of the parameter optimization process for ITSC fault detection, applying Differential Evolution optimization and the Smooth Pseudo Wigner‐Ville Distribution for signal processing. The optimized parameters are then used in the failure identification pipeline, which combines the signal processing with a YOLO‐based architecture for fault severity

Longtime Dynamics of The Oregonator System

open access: yes, 2011
In this work the existence and properties of a global attractor for the solution semiflow of the Oregonator system are proved. The Oregonator system is the mathematical model of the famous Belousov-Zhabotinskii reaction.

Hopfield Neural Networks for Online Constrained Parameter Estimation With Time‐Varying Dynamics and Disturbances

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView.
This paper proposes two projector‐based Hopfield neural network (HNN) estimators for online, constrained parameter estimation under time‐varying data, additive disturbances, and slowly drifting physical parameters. The first is a constraint‐aware HNN that enforces linear equalities and inequalities (via slack neurons) and continuously tracks the ...

Anisotropic Power-law Inflation

open access: yes, 2010
We study an inflationary scenario in supergravity model with a gauge kinetic function. We find exact anisotropic power-law inflationary solutions when both the potential function for an inflaton and the gauge kinetic function are exponential type.

Revisiting Stability Criteria in Ball‐Milled High‐Entropy Alloys: Do Hume–Rothery and Thermodynamic Rules Equally Apply?

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 27, Issue 6, March 2025.
The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.

Pullback and uniform exponential attractors for non-autonomous Oregonator systems

open access: yesOpen Mathematics
We consider the long-time global dynamics of non-autonomous Oregonator systems. This system is a coupled system of three reaction-diffusion equations, that arises from the Belousov-Zhabotinskii reaction.

Exponential attractor for the Higher-order Kirchhoff-type equation with nonlinear strongly damped term [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
We investigate the existence of exponential attractor for the Higher-order Kirchhoff-type equation with nonlinear strongly damped term: .For strong nonlinear damping σ(s) and φ(s) ,we assumptions .Under of the proper assume H1-H3, we first prove the ...

A Workflow to Accelerate Microstructure‐Sensitive Fatigue Life Predictions

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study introduces a workflow to accelerate predictions of microstructure‐sensitive fatigue life. Results from frameworks with varying levels of simplification are benchmarked against published reference results. The analysis reveals a trade‐off between accuracy and model complexity, offering researchers a practical guide for selecting the optimal ...

Inflation as an attractor in scalar cosmology

open access: yes, 2013
We study an inflation mechanism based on attractor properties in cosmological evolutions of a spatially flat Friedmann-Robertson-Walker spacetime based on the Einstein-scalar field theory. We find a new way to get the Hamilton-Jacobi equation solving the
